Thurston County Readiness Center

This is more than a training space, it is the culmination of six years of work to combine multiple facilities under one roof. Not only does this space support the training of our National Guard, it has space for families and the community.

Account Executive, Government Environments
The primary mission of the Thurston County Readiness Center is to provide a cost-effective and operationally efficient specialized training facility for the assigned units of the Washington Army National Guard and their personnel. The facility houses approximately 80,000 square feet of training, administrative and storage space.
Its proximity to other state agencies, as well as within the Tumwater community, also facilitates its use as a conference and meeting facility in support of multiple agencies and public and community groups. Cameron Hood, Government Environments Manager
Training over 300 personnel at any given time requires large spaces that have multiple uses. Furniture that can be easily reconfigured to accommodate various modes of training.
