University of Washington, Founders Hall

Our team worked tirelessly to create environments that motivate and inspire. We built trust and lasting relationships along our design-build journey, and I’m so proud of what we accomplished together.

Founders Hall--with its connections to the Pacific Northwest forest products industry, its Native art, its significantly reduced carbon footprint and its intentional design fostering community and collaboration--is an example of how we are living our purpose as a forward-thinking business school.
The new 85,000 square foot mass timber building was designed to foster collaboration among students, faculty and staff.
The design-build process encouraged creativity and exploration of furniture solutions to satisfy the project needs and budget. We supported the University of Washington’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by partnering with small, local and diverse businesses when sourcing goods and services.
