Why Not You Academy

Overcoming a lot of odds just to get their doors open, this new charter school is developing students who understand how to solve real-world issues and become life long learners.

Classrooms need to be flexible to allow for different modes of learning and teaching. The same classroom can be quickly rearranged for group learning, lecture or individual focus.

The charter school lost its original funding during Covid, but thanks to the shared goals of former Seattle Seahawk Russel Wilson's foundation, the Why Not You Academy was able to open its doors to freshmen in 2021. The school will continue to grow adding a new class each year until 9-12 grades are attending.
